Where It All Began
Fittingly, their story has a magazine-worthy start. Literally.
Meagan and Dave met while working as freelance photographers for Ocala Style Magazine. Between covering assignments for one another and trading photo tips, a friendship, and eventually a creative partnership, began to take shape.
United by a shared belief in “Community over Competition,” they saw firsthand how powerful collaboration could be. When creatives come together, amazing things happen, and Maven was born out of that exact energy.
Since joining forces, Meagan and Dave have built a brand that’s become synonymous with elevated visuals, dynamic storytelling, and professional yet personal service. They’re known for doing whatever it takes to get the shot (including spontaneous acrobatics), and for creating a client experience that’s as enjoyable as it is unforgettable.
Meet Meagan

Meagan (rhymes with vegan) is a natural light lover, visual storyteller, and proud chaos coordinator. With a background in sculpture and ceramics, her artistic journey led her behind the lens in 2017, where she found her true creative home.
Driven by a passion for capturing movement, emotion, and genuine connection, Meagan brings warmth, clarity, and a calming presence to every shoot. Whether she’s filming a family session at golden hour or flying drones at sunrise, she leads with intention and artistry.
Married to her husband Ben since 2007, Meagan is also a mom to two teen boys who keep life wonderfully wild. When she’s not shooting or editing, she’s chasing sleep, rolling out her yoga mat, or boarding a plane in search of new light and landscapes.

Dave Miller is always chasing the story—sometimes on foot, sometimes on two wheels, and often by drone. As a U.S. Army combat veteran and lifelong adventurer, Dave’s lens has traveled the world with him, capturing everything from serene landscapes to high-adrenaline sporting events.
With an impressive client list that includes Redbull, Adidas, and Toyota, Dave brings unmatched energy and perspective to the Maven brand. One of his most iconic shoots? Racing downhill alongside Redbull athletes at the legendary Joyride event in Whistler, BC.
Whether scuba diving in the Galápagos or filming sunrise over a foggy Florida forest, Dave is always looking for new angles and authentic moments. He’s also a FAA-certified drone pilot and gifted storyteller who turns even the wildest adventures into compelling, emotional visuals.
At home, Dave shares life with his wife Brooke and their beautiful blended family, where the adventure continues—through good meals, new places, and stories worth remembering.
